Quotable:
GHS coach, Gordon Hamlow: “It was a great tournament for us. We showed a lot of progress, especially on the offensive end of the floor. Defense & Rebounding has been what we have hung our hat on, and it served us well this week. Jeremiah is a monster in the middle making it easier for his teammates on the perimeter. He has great feel around the rim, outstanding footwork, and passes very well out of double teams.”
GHS junior, Jeremiah Garzon: “I feel like winning the Bronze Division is such a huge achievement since we all had to go through adversity and rough games throughout the whole tournament. It was great getting named MVP because I always dreamed of winning and playing with a team like this one, so to be named MVP is honestly amazing to win, especially with the squad I have around me.”
