Boys Hoops:
Charter Oak went on a 19-9 run in the fourth quarter to defeat their hosts from San Dimas, 50-41, on Thursday evening.
And they did so in spite of going 8-for-22 from the free-throw line.
Jayden Harris led the Chargers with 11 points.
Brandon Rodriguez scored all nine of his points from beyond the 3-point arc.
Dominic Jones added seven points in the win.
San Dimas only saw three players score on Thursday, and they were missing Angelo Fares.
Daniel Barrales led SDHS in scoring for the first time this season.
Barrales hit four 3-pointers, and he finished with a game-high 20 points.
Andrew Diep provided 15 points in the loss.
Landon Tongco accounted for the other six Saints points.
Up next: COHS travels to Montclair on Tuesday.
SDHS visits Eisenhower today (Friday) at 7.
