La Salle competed today at the Milken Tournament at UCLA.
In our first game, the Lancers battled West High School from Torrance.
La Salle claimed an 8-7 victory.
Sophomore Kevin Arredondo put away an early goal in the first quarter.
Miles Hall, team captain and senior, put away two goals.
Tanner Borowitz, also team captain and senior, scored five times, charging the Lancers to victory.
In the second game, we faced off with Cathedral High School.
The Lancers fought hard but lost, 14-10.
Tanner Borowitz lead the team, scoring five goals and totaled five steals.
Ryan Chan, Tyson Brown, Eldred Hou, Miles Hall and Kevin Arredondo all scored one goal apiece.
On Thursday, La Salle will be back at UCLA for a second day of good competition.
The Lancers will be facing off against Milken Community in the 9:00 am game.
