Girls Basketball:
The Wolves won their 66th consecutive Prep League game Friday and their eight straight league championship.
Flintridge Prep cruised to a 50-33 victory over Pasadena Poly.
Sofia Gonzalez finished off the final regular season game of her high school career with 14 points, 10 rebounds and seven steals.
Ashlyn Zhang added 13 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists.
Taryn Chadwick and Paige Lim combined to score 30 of Poly’s 33 points.
Chadwick had 17 points and Lim finished with 13.
Mikaylie Kiyomura, the daughter of the Wolves co-head coach, Kevin Kiyomura, had a solid senior night with 12 points, three assists and two steals.
Maddie Chiu chipped in six points and a rebound, Jazzy Wu had three points and three rebounds, and Kate Ohara added two points in the win.
It should also be mentioned that co-head coaches & cousin’s, Jayme Kiyomura-Chan & Kevin Kiyomura, led their program through a pandemic to a perfect 12-0 regular season record.
