Baseball:
Bishop Amat claimed its seventh consecutive victory over La Salle on Tuesday.
BAHS defeated LSHS, 4-0, in a Del Rey League contest.
Amat is now 4-0 in league games, and La Salle is 2-1.
Aaron Sandin went four scoreless to earn the win.
Sandin surrendered three hits, walked a pair and struck out three.
Gabriel Guerrero allowed just one hit over three innings and fanned a pair of La Salle batters.
Hunter Vigil, Peter Callihan, Chris Cardenas and Travis Ochoa had one hit apiece to account for the Lancers offense.
Andrew Luna and Adrian Hernandez both went three innings each for La Salle.
Luna surrendered two runs on one hit and four walks.
Hernandez was charged with two unearned runs on two hits and four walks.
Luna fanned a pair of Amat batters, and Hernandez finished with four strikeouts.
Raymond Perez walked and had a two-run single in the bottom of the third inning to give the Lancers a 2-0 lead.
Andre Saldivar went 2-for-3, with a run and one RBI.
Jacob Campos extended to Amat lead to 4-0 with his sac fly in the sixth inning.
Isaiah Hernandez walked twice and scored.
Up next: La Salle will host Bishop Montgomery on Friday at 3.
