Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Prep continued its perennial dominance over Poly on Friday night.
The Wolves improved to 6-0 in Prep League games after a 65-47 road victory.
Flintridge Prep’s co-head coaches Kevin Kiyomura and Jayme Chan are known for their detailed game plans, and they showed once again on Friday how to out-scheme an opponent.
In spite of being outmanned, Prep is now 19-2 in 2022-23, and they sit alone atop the Prep League standings.
Ashley Chea hit five 3-pointers, and scored a game-high 25 points.
Maddie Smith chipped in with 16 points, and Akemi Fu had 12.
Paige Lim led the Panthers with 20 points, and Sammie Yen contributed 12 points in the loss.
