Marshall Fundamental looked to stay unbeaten on Thursday afternoon.
But the Eagles trailed 1-0 at home against Mission Valley League foe, El Monte.
Not to worry.
Eduardo Reyes scored on a breakaway and Victor Camacho punched in a penalty kick, and Marshall Fundamental claimed a 2-1 victory.
Tex Bonham saved eight shots in the victory.
Up next: The Eagles will host unbeaten Mountain View on Tuesday at 3:15.
