Arcadia answered Tuesday’s first loss to Pasadena with a 7-1 victory on Friday.
Ian Hoffstetter went six innings and allowed just an unearned run on one hit to earn the win.
Hoffstetter walked two and fanned three PHS batters.
Gabriel Lopez closed the door with a scoreless seventh inning of relief.
Lopez allowed one hit, walked one and struck out two.
Casey Skett had Pasadena’s lone hit and Ben Griffith walked and scored the Bulldogs run.
Griffith went all six innings for PHS and didn’t get much help from his defense.
Of the seven runs he was charged with, only two were earned.
Griffith scattered seven hits, walked two and struck out five Arcadia batters.
Daniel Chavez singled, doubled and scored two runs.
Zach Huerta singled, scored twice and drove in a run.
Alex Dolan walked, singled and had an RBI.
Julian Gutierrez singled and drove in a run.
Jack Esguerra singled, drove in a pair of runs and scored.
Evan Huang and Devon Eskridge singled and scored one run apiece.
With two games to be played with Crescenta Valley, Arcadia enters the final week of the regular season tied for first place with Burroughs.
