After dropping the first two Baseline League games of a three-game series to Etiwanda, and by a combined margin of 31-2, Los Osos showed its character by salvaging a 7-5 road victory in game three.
The Grizzlies scored six fourth-inning runs and got an insurance run in the seventh.
Wade Duncan went 5 2/3 innings to earn the win.
Duncan allowed two runs (one earned) on nine hits.
He walked two and fanned 10.
Justin Yeutter got the final four outs, as well as three runs on three hits and a walk to earn the save.
Yeutter struck out two batters.
Tyler McEvoy went 4-for-4, with a double, RBI and two runs scored.
Luke Mariscal singled, doubled and drove in a run.
Kaedon Mas singled twice, scored and had one RBI.
Armando Briseno and Tyler Shigenaka walked, singled and scored one run each.
Parker Sobiesiak singled and drove in a run.
Mason Schultz got the loss, allowing six runs (two earned) on seven hits.
Schultz went four innings, didn’t issue a walk and struck out three.
Kyle Fontenberry doubled and scored, and Tyler Mohler singled and scored.
Enzo Comes and Dylan Mohler singled, scored and drove in one run each.
Josh Torti singled and scored twice.
Daniel Moreno singled three times in Friday’s win.
Robert Topete scored and had an RBI for LOHS.
