Andress Tallies 7 Goals & 7 Steals in GHS’ 16-8 Victory Over Ayala; Tartans Can Catch First-Place Bonita w/Win on Tuesday

Girls Water Polo:

With Monday’s 16-8, Palomares League victory over visiting Ayala, Glendora has set up a very dramatic showdown today (Tuesday).

The Tartans welcome the first-place Bearcats to their pool 19 days after a one-goal loss at Bonita.

GHS trails BHS by one-half a game with two to play.

Hailey Andress led the way with seven goals, five assists, seven steals and two ejections drawn.

Jezreel Gomez added four goals, an assist and one ejection drawn.

Daniela Stabell chipped in with a pair of goals.

Rachelle Herrera finished with one goal and four steals, and Sophia Pinkston had a goal and an assist.

Katie Greer chipped in with a goal and steal.

And last but not least, Katie Duckworth had eight saves, an assist and two steals in goal for Glendora.

Up next: GHS will host Bonita on Tuesday and travel to Claremont on Wednesday.
