Quotable:

Pasadena coach, Chris Rucker: “We’ve been in many of our games this season, and we just missed one clutch hit. Today, that clutch hit came from Dylan Derosier. A big two-run triple gave us the energy we needed to get a big win over a very well-disciplined Burroughs team. Our defense is our strong point, but all of our guys were locked in today, and that was great to see. Reese pitched great today. He’s been big for us on the mound, and he’s really grown into a leader on this team. He makes it hard for us as a coaching staff to take the ball out of his hand. He’s a competitor and wants to be out there in any situation.”
