Grant MacCharles Goes Six Scoreless, Allowing One Hit & Striking Out Seven in Alta Loma’s 9-2 Hacienda League Victory Over Los Altos

Grant MacCharles had quite the impact in Alta Loma’s 9-2 Hacienda League victory over their visitors from Los Altos.

First, MacCharles tossed six scoreless innings and allowing just one hit.

He didn’t issue a walk and registered seven strikeouts.

At the plate, he went 2-for-3 with a two-run double, triple, scored a pair of runs and finished with two RBIs.

The Conquerors got two runs on three hits off Wyatt Snook in the seventh inning.

Snook didn’t walk anyone and struck out one LAHS batter.

Jacob Vargas had half of Los Altos’ four hits, including an RBI double.

Luke Rodriguez and Diego Ortiz walked and scored one run apiece.

Ethier Diaz had an RBI ground out.

Chris Ramirez got the loss after surrendering five runs (four earned) on six hits over three innings.

The Braves scored four unearned runs on two hits and a walk off Nikolos Galindo in an eight-run fourth inning.

Cody Primanto went 3-for-4 with a double, triple, run and one RBI for ALHS.

Matthew Perez singled twice and scored a pair of runs.

Jake Zandbergen went 2-for-3, was hit by pitch, had an RBI double and scored twice.

Vincent Cantu walked and scored.

Everett Babcock had an RBI ground out, while Lukas Spence and Matthew Torres scored one run apiece in the win.
