Pasadena Drops an 82-33 Pacific League Beatdown on Hoover; Bulldogs Host First-Place Crescenta Valley on Saturday

Boys Basketball:

Pasadena put Hoover away early in Thursday’s 82-33 Pacific League victory.

The Bulldogs led 46-17 at the break, and they took a 69-30 advantage into the fourth quarter.

Eleven separate PHS players scored.

Josh Irving scored a game-high 14 points.

Jahmir Hampton and Ike Mitchell chipped in with 10 points apiece.

Troy Wilson contributed nine points and Brandin Carpenter had eight.

Mark Khatchoyan led Hoover with 10 points.

Justin Herrera and Jaden Duncan provided eight points apiece in the loss.

Up next: The Bulldogs host Crescenta Valley on Saturday at 7.

The winner will almost certainly win the Pacific League title.

The Falcons (15-7, 5-0) crushed Burbank, 86-58, on Thursday.
