Girls Basketball:
San Dimas improved to 8-2 after Monday’s 53-47 victory over San Dimas in the Citrus Bowl rivalry game.
Trailing by two at the break, the Bearcats outscored the Saints, 31-23, in the second half to pull away.
Lexi Mercado scored 14 of her game-high 26 points in the second half.
Mercado also led all players with three 3-pointers.
Brooke Van Duyne chipped in with 11 points in the win.
Anelly Alba led the Saints with 14 points.
Priscilla Romero contributed 11 points for SDHS.
Up next: San Dimas will host Azusa on Thursday, and Bonita travels to Diamond Bar on Thursday.
