Muir secured its second two-game Pacific League sweep of the 2024 season.
The Mustangs never trailed in Friday’s 9-2 victory over Glendale.
MHS out-hit GHS, 8-4.
Conrad Hunziker IV went the distance and allowed a pair of unearned runs on four hits.
Hunziker issued three walks and struck out four Glendale batters.
Jason Martinez had half of the Nitros four hits.
Dante Vasquez walked and scored.
Austin Aldrete got the loss after allowing four runs on three hits over 4 1/3 innings.
Aldrete struggled with his control, walking eight and striking out a pair of Muir batters.
Owen Grice went 2-for-3, with two runs and a pair of RBIs.
Hunziker helped his own cause with five RBIs.
Isaac Rishwain singled twice, scored and had one RBI.
Dominic Cathirell and Donovan Williams singled and scored one run apiece.
Eduardo Sosa drew a pair of walks, singled and scored.
Arturo Ayers walked twice and scored.
