Northview had an 11-point lead at the half, and the Vikings would hold on for a 58-46 Valle Vista League victory at Covina.
NHS and San Dimas, who meet up Friday night in Covina, are 2-0 in VVL games.
Caleb McKendrick hit four of Northview’s six 3-pointers, and he finished with a game-high 28 points.
Sam Osi had nine points and Nick Santillan contributed eight points for the Vikings.
Devin Cevallos led the Covina offense with 20 points.
Heworth Abraham hit two of the Colts three 3-pointers and he chipped in with 10 points.
