Wrestling:
Northview claimed the Nogales Superchamps thanks to seven individual champions.
The Vikings earned 331 team points at the two-day event.
Elijah Butler (106), Marcus Tolentino (113), Jovanni Evangelista (120), Henry Arellano (126), Viviano Gutierrez (144), Aiden Pacheco (175) and Sonny Acuna (190) each earned titles for the Northview program.
Etiwanda had a strong showing of its own.
The Eagles finished in second with 307.5 team points.
That included individual champions Austin McSwain (138), Santiago Loera (150), Kenny Benitez (157) and heavyweight Galen Brown.
Diamond Bar’s Peter Xu won the 165-pound weight class.
