Boys Volleyball:
The Upland boys volleyball program has just one more hurdle to leap.
The Highlanders defeated visiting Redondo Union in four games in Saturday’s CIF-SS Division 2 semifinal.
UHS won by scores of 29-27, 25-22, 21-25 and 25-18.
Isaiah Vogel led the way with 18 kills and 12 digs.
AJ Contreras contributed 15 kills.
Kai Vogel added 13 kills and eight digs.
Joey Chute chipped in with 18 digs.
And Aiden DuFour was instrumental with 45 assists and six blocks.
Up next: Upland will face Tesoro next Saturday in the Division 2 finals.
The Titans (22-5) edged visiting San Marcos in five games.
