Baseball:
Los Osos finished out its 2023 season with a Baseline League series victory over Chino Hills.
The Grizzlies scored three runs in the top of the sixth to earn a 4-2 victory.
LOHS fell, 1-0, in eight innings in the series opener on Monday.
But they bounced back with wins of 11-3 and 4-2, respectively.
Aidan Cube went five innings and allowed two runs on three hits.
He walked and struck out six.
Nathan Castro pitched a scoreless sixth, allowing one hit, but got out of a first-and-third jam.
Ayden Holker closed it out with a scoreless seventh to earn the save.
Holker walked two and struck out one.
Christian Takahashi walked and scored.
Luc Dowling and Zane Poulter both had one base hit and one RBI apiece.
Colin McZeal doubled, while Tyler Cristiano and Matt Chavez singled.
Dillon Anderson scored once for the Huskies.
Aidan Langley went 1 2/3 scoreless innings for the Huskies and allowed one hit, walked one and fanned a pair of Grizzlies.
Zane Poulter was charged with an unearned run over 2 2/3 innings on two hits and two walks.
Dylan Roby got the loss, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits over 2 2/3 innings.
Roby didn’t issue and walk and struck out one.
Reagan Samples singled and hit a two-run HR in the three-run sixth inning.
Ryan Anderson walked, scored a run and had one RBI.
Justin Yeutter went 2-for-2 walked, was hit by pitch, a single and a double and scored tying run in the top of six.
Hunter Meyer doubled and drove in a run.
Roberto Topete and Wyatt Mohler had one hit apiece.
