Four Warren Pitchers Combine in 6-1 Victory at San Marino; Bears Out-Hit Titans, 13-6, on Saturday

San Marino entered its final nonleague game of 2023 having won four of their last five.

On Saturday morning, however, Warren handed the Titans a 6-1 setback.

The Bears out-hit SMHS, 13-6.

Brandon Ibarra, Marco Ibarra, Holden Hungerford and Tyler Fleer combined to shut down the Titans.

The Bears quartet surrendered just an unearned run on six hits.

They issued one walk and struck out four.

Brandon Ibarra went three innings to earn the win.

He allowed an unearned run on three hits, walked one and fanned two San Marino batters.

Tyler Giddings went 2-for-3 and scored the San Marino run.

Mikey Yessaian singled in Giddings in the bottom of the first to tie the game at 1-1.

Coleman Morning, Sid Danenhauer and Sebastian Liquori had one hit apiece for San Marino.

Tomas Bilvado got the loss.

Bilvado went 4 2/3 innings and allowed six runs on 11 hits and two walks.

Branden Lepe singled, doubled and scored.

Angel Cervantes walked, singled, doubled and scored.

Joaquin Gonzalez walked, doubled, scored and had two RBIs.

Julian Angulo went 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs.

Andrew Sanchez walked, singled and drove in a pair of runs.

Fabian Ochoa singled and scored.

Warren (14-8) travels to Gahr (18-2-1) on Tuesday.
