After Friday’s 11-1, five-inning beatdown of Village Christian, the Minutemen are two games up on Whittier Christian in the loss column, three ahead of Valley Christian, and VCHS is four back.
Zach Strickland went four innings and allowed an unearned run on two hits.
Strickland walked four and fanned six.
Jackson Hisey provided a scoreless and hitless inning of relief.
Hisey got two of his three outs via strikeout.
