Quotable:

Etiwanda pitcher, Dylan Goff: “Having all these games rained out didn’t really affect me, because I’ve been working hard, getting my lessons in, working on my throwing program, etc. My velo from last year went from 85-87 to 87-89 this season. It was good to get back on the field and get a couple of wins to open league. I threw nothing but fastballs in the first few innings and then started mixing in my curve.”
