Although there was no doubt it was going to happen, Bonita officially wrapped up the outright Palomares League championship on Tuesday.
The Bearcats defeated visiting Alta Loma, 7-3, which gave BHS an insurmountable two-game lead (over Ayala) with just one to play.
Seth Wrightstone went six innings and allowed three runs on five hits.
Wrightstone walked one and struck out four ALHS batters.
Jacob Clark got the final two outs, including two via strikeout.
Dakodah Kinsley walked, singled, scored twice and hit a solo HR.
Seth Reker walked, singled twice and scored.
Dominic Paris got the loss, allowing seven runs on 11 hits over his six innings.
He walked one and struck out one Bonita batter.
JT Fenton hit a three-run home run in a five-run fourth inning.
Tyler Holley walked, singled, doubled and scored a pair of runs.
Bryan Bradshaw singled twice and scored.
Seth Wrightstone singled, tripled and crossed the plate twice.
Luke Mistone singled, scored and had an RBI.
