Flintridge Prep secured at least a share of the Prep League championship on Tuesday.
The Wolves defeated visiting Chadwick, 7-2.
With two league games remaining, Flintridge Prep has a two-game lead over second-place Poly.
The Wolves, however, picked up the three-game season sweep over the Panthers.
And that means there is no scenario in which the Wolves would not be the league’s No. 1 seed.
Josh Beserra went six innings to get the win.
Beserra allowed two runs on four hits.
He walked four and fanned six Chadwick batters.
Michael Zbyszewski got the loss for the Dolphins.
Zbyszewski went 5 2/3 innings, allowing seven runs (six earned) on nine hits.
He walked two and fanned three Flintridge Prep batters.
Dominick Schraeder doubled twice, scored a pair of runs and had two RBIs.
Josh Beserra walked, singled, doubled, drove in two and scored twice.
Max Brunngraber singled and had two RBIs.
Diego Ynzunza singled twice and scored.
Will Koh had an RBI single.
Nick Gonzalez singled and scored twice.
