Etiwanda took over sole possession of first place in the Baseline League standings.

On Monday, the Eagles cruised to a 9-1 victory at Rancho Cucamonga to take a one-game lead over the Cougars.

Brady Ebel went six scoreless innings to earn the win.

He allowed just one hit, walked one and fanned a pair of RCHS batters.

Ebel improved his personal record to 4-0.

Wilson Dunn had an RBI single in the seventh inning.

Ruben Jurado singled and scored for the Cougars.

Drew Copelan went 3 2/3 innings and got the loss.

Copelan allowed nine runs (eight earned) on seven hits and seven walks.

Mike Harrison had an RBI single, three-run HR and scored twice.

Tyler McEvoy singled, doubled, drove in a pair of runs and scored.

Parker Sobiesiak singled and had two RBIs.

Armando Briseno singled and scored, and Ebel walked three times and scored twice.
