Baseball:
Sometimes a good (butt) whipping can wake a quality program up.
It was 11 days ago that Glendora suffered a 9-1 beatdown at the hands of visiting Ayala.
It was the Tartans second consecutive Palomares League loss, they were out-hit 12-2, and committed a game-high four errors.

Fast forward to March 26, and Glendora has won five consecutive games and they sit atop the league standings with Bonita.
On Saturday, GHS defeated Murrieta Mesa, 12-5, in a game that featured 26 combined hits.
Evan Ellis got the win after allowing one run on four hits over his three innings of work.
He walked two and fanned two.
Michael Moses went 3 1/3 innings and surrendered two runs on five hits.
