Valle Vista League Individual Finals:
Three days after claiming the CIF-SS Division 2 team dual championship (over Yucaipa), the Northview boys were back on the mat at the Valle Vista League Finals.
To say they dominated the day would be quite the understatement.
The Vikings won 11 of the 14 individual titles and that included the first 10 weight classes from 106-170.
Marcus Tolentino, Nicolas Arellano, Adrian Limon, Mario Sandoval, Julian Leon, Jacob Leon, Jacob Salcedo, Sonny Acuna, Nate Cruz, Lewis Madrigal and Anthony Troncoso all won their weight class.
West Covina’s Jeremiah Juarez (182 pounds) broke up the 10-man Northview win streak.
San Dimas’ David Piedra claimed the 195-pound crown and Charter Oak’s Nick Hernandez was the 220-pound champion.
