The Lancers defeated the Grizzlies, 10-3, in Thursday’s first round of the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs.
Anthony Eyanson earned the win by going five innings and allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits.
He walked one and struck out five LOHS batters.
Blake Boggs doubled and scored, and Devean Alvarez singled and scored.
Drake Job singled and drove in a pair of runs.
Kyle Fortenberry walked, singled and had an RBI.
Greg Chodos was stuck with the loss, allowing five runs on four hits in just 1/3 of an inning.
James Provencio singled twice, scored a pair of runs and drove in two.
Anthony Eyanson helped his own cause, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs and scoring one run.
Nohea Mapu singled, drove in a pair of runs and scored twice.
Jared Stephenson walked, singled twice, scored two runs and had an RBI.
Wyatt Coats had an RBI base hit and Eric Yuriar singled and scored.
Kane Yonamine singled, scored and had an RBI for Lakewood.
