Flintridge Prep’s 12-2 Victory Over Rio Hondo Prep Clinches Prep League Championship

Flintridge Prep officially wrapped up the Prep League championship on Friday.

And they weren’t messing around.

The Wolves claimed a 12-2, five-inning victory at Rio Hondo Prep.

Prep needed Friday’s win to finish the regular season one-game ahead of Pasadena Poly.

Max Brunngraber went four innings and allowed one run on five hits.

Spencer Seid pitched the fifth inning and allowed one run on one hit.

Gio Ortega singled twice and scored a pair of runs for RHP.

Anderson Lang had an RBI double.

Ryan Olivas singled in a run for the Kares.

Bennett Underwood was stuck with the loss after allowing six runs (four earned) on three hits over his three innings.

The Wolves got six runs off Nathan Olivas on five hits.

Spencer Seid doubled, homered, scored three runs and drove in five.

Bradley Marelich walked, singled twice and scored three runs.

JR Kully tripled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.

Josh Beserra singled and had two RBIs.

Diego Ynzunza went 2-for-3, scored and drove in a run.

Nathan Park singled and scored.
