Boys Tennis:
After an 11-7 victory over Rancho Alamitos in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs on Thursday, San Dimas didn’t want any drama on Saturday.
The Saints made a 48-mile trip to Phelan and handily defeated Serrano, 15-3, in the second round.
Rahul Mohan and Moises Reyes went a combined 6-0 for SDHS.
Jonah Consencino/Stefan Datwyler and Brian Thai/Ivan Kao earned three match points apiece on Saturday.
Ryan Kodama & Abram Schwach won two of their three matches.
Jonathan Cox claimed one singles victory and the team of Michael Fonseca & Ryan Kodama contributed one point for the Valle Vista League champions.
Up next: San Dimas will travel to Long Beach and take on No. 1 seeded Millikan on Monday at 3.
