Los Altos Wins Hacienda League Championship in Walk-Off Style; Conquerors Defeat South Hills, 6-5

Los Altos clinched the Hacienda League championship on Saturday.

The Conquerors saw South Hills tie the game at 5-5 with two outs in the top of the seventh.

So, in the bottom half, Los Altos answered with a run of their own, and the walk-off, 6-5 victory.

Coupled with Tuesday’s 1-0 win, the Conquerors clinched the two-game, season sweep of the Huskies.

Isaac Pinedo went 3 1/3 innings and allowed an unearned run on two hits.

He walked two and struck out four.

Andy Jimenez allowed three runs (one earned) on three hits over this three innings.

Jimenez walked one and fanned a pair.

Jake Ruelas would go 2/3 of an inning and allowed one run on one hit and three walks.

Jeremiah Sibrian singled, homered scored two runs and had two RBIs for South Hills.

Gilbert Morales went 2-for-4.

Andrew Ramirez doubled and drove in a pair of runs.

Matthew Yanez singled and scored.

Sterling Patick went two scoreless for South Hills.

Jeremiah Sibrian was charged with three runs (one earned) on two hits and three walks over his three innings of work.

Sibrian struck out a pair of Los Altos batters.

Matthew Lorenzano went 1/3 of an innings and allowed two unearned run on one hit and two walks.

And Ethan Lee got the loss after allowing the seventh-inning run and two hits.

Adrian Soto went 2-for-2, with a walk, run scored and two RBIs.

Daniel Santos singled and scored.

Diego Moreno walked twice, singled, scored and had an RBI.

David Castillo doubled and scored.

Jacob Rodriguez had an RBI and Matthew Martinez walked twice and scored.

Up next: The Huskies will face off with Wilson twice next week to close out the regular season.
