Arcadia extended its current win streak to eight games after Tuesday’s 17-2, Pacific League beatdown of Muir.
And over that stretch, a seven-run victory over El Camino Real is the closest any opponent has gotten.
Daniel Chavez picked up the win after going three scoreless innings and scattering three hits.
Chavez didn’t walk anyone and struck out two Mustangs’ batters.
Muir got one run apiece off Lance Wong and Jack Esguerra.
Myles Sotomayor, Jaime Caldera and Jose Guzman had one single apiece.
Arcadia scored runs against each of Muir’s five pitchers on Tuesday.
Brandon Nguyen walked twice, singled, homered, scored four time and drove in three runs.
Alex Dolan walked and had an RBI base hit.
Mikey Easter was walked three times, scored and had an RBI.
Julian Eskridge walked, singled and scored.
