Capacete Goes Distance in Etiwanda’s 7-5 Victory Over Chino Hills; Zapata & Holman Homer for Eagles

After five losses to begin Baseline League play, Etiwanda has now won two consecutive league games.

And after five consecutive victories to open league play, Chino Hills dropped its second straight league game.

Etiwanda’s Alfredo Capacete went the distance in a 7-5 victory on Monday.

Capacete allowed five runs (two earned) on seven hits.

He walked two and struck out four CHHS batters.

Cole Howarth doubled, tripled, scored and had an RBI for the Huskies.

Joshua Chavez doubled and scored.

Braden Hofmeyer got the loss after allowing seven runs (six earned) on seven hits over his 3 2/3 innings.

Hofmeyer walked two and fanned a pair of Eagles’ batters.

Austen Roellig doubled twice and scored two runs.

Jack Holman singled, homered, scored twice and drove in four runs.

Abraham Zapata doubled, homered and had three RBIs.

Michai Harrison and Yahir Ramirez walked and scored in the win.
