Casey Spencer Remains Unbeaten in 2021; Arcadia Ace Goes 5 Scoreless & Strikes Out 8 in 9-0 Victory Over PHS

Casey Spencer won his sixth game on Tuesday.

The Arcadia senior went five scoreless innings and allowed just one hit in a 9-0 victory over visiting Pasadena.

Spencer walked one and struck out eight PHS batters to help the Apaches improve to 5-0 in Pacific League play.

Gabriel Lopez went two scoreless innings in relief, allowing one hit and striking out two.

Jaxon Bacon and Evan Coad singled to account for the Pasadena offense.

Ben Griffith got the loss after allowing nine runs (six earned) on six hits over his four innings of work.

Griffith walked three and struck out three Arcadia batters.

Mikey Easter went 2-for-4, with three runs scored and an RBI.

Alex Dolan and Zach Huerta singled and scored.

Julian Eskridge walked, singled, scored twice and had an RBI, and Devon Eskridge walked and scored.

Brandon Nguyen had a two-run base hit.

Daniel Chavez walked, scored and had an RBI.

Up next: Arcadia will travel to PHS on Friday to conclude their two-game series with the Bulldogs.

First pitch is set for 3:30.
