Baseball:
Ayala continued its hot streak Friday, defeating Alta Loma, 15-7, to sweep the two-game Palomares League series with the Braves.
Andreas Pasillas went the first five innings, allowing two runs on five hits to get the win.
He walked two and struck out four Alta Loma batters.
Ian Wolski doubled and drove in three runs for ALHS.
Tucker Kraushaar walked, singled twice and scored two runs.
Ian Blauser walked, singled twice and scored.
Roman Nuqui had an RBI double and scored a run.
Dominic Paris got the loss after allowing seven runs (two earned) on nine hits.
Paris walked two and struck out two Bulldogs’ batters in his four innings of work.
Ty Borgogno went 4-for-4, including two doubles, three runs scored and a pair of RBIs.
Cole Koniarsky walked, singled, doubled, scored twice and had two RBIs.
Mateo Matthews singled, homered and drove in four runs.
Troy McCain walked, hit a solo home run and scored three runs.
Marcus Galvan went 2-for-4, with two runs scored and two RBIs.
Damien Delgadillo walked, doubled, drove in two runs and scored twice.
Anthony Dominguez had an RBI triple and Luke Solis singled and scored.
Up next: Ayala will travel to Claremont on Wednesday for the first of two next week with the Wolfpack.
