Make it six wins in a row.
Gabe Mabee went six scoreless innings on the mound to extend the Marshall Fundamental win streak to six games.
Mabee scattered three hits, walked two and struck out seven in a 5-0 victory over South El Monte in Mission Valley League play.
Wes Pendleton preserved the shutout with a scoreless inning of relief.
Ruben Reyes was stuck with the loss.
Reyes surrendered five runs (two earned) on two hits over his four innings of work.
He walked two and struck out five MF batters.
Alex Chew doubled in two runs and scored once.
Travis Delgado walked and scored.
Nick Chew and Devan Kelly both singled and scored.
Up next: The Eagles will travel to Rosemead tomorrow (Thursday) and battle Bosco Tech at 4.
