Baseball:
Flintridge Prep started a week in which they’ll play three Prep League games on a high note.
The Wolves pounded out a 17-3 victory at Chadwick on Monday.
Josh Beserra went the first three innings to get the win for Prep.
Beserra allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits.
He didn’t walk anyone and struck out two.
Bradley Marelich would go three scoreless and he got six of his nine outs via strikeout.
Nathan Park closed out the win and fanned a pair of Dolphins’ batters.
Joshua Mercer was stuck with the loss.
Mercer surrendered seven runs on seven hits over his 1 1/3 inning outing.
He walked three and struck out two.
Prep would get three runs off Tate Mooney and would get to Josh Goodman for seven more.
Bradley Marelich went 4-for-5, with a walk, two runs scored and three RBIs.
Spencer Seid walked, singled twice, scored two runs and drove in three.
JR Kully walked twice, singled two times, doubled, scored three runs and drove in one.
Nathan Park had two singles and a pair of runs scored.
Max Brunngraber walked twice, singled, scored and drove in two runs.
Rudy Ruiz walked, singled and scored twice.
Josh Beserra walked, scored and had two singles.
Nick Gonzalez walked, singled, scored and had two RBIs.
Graham DesHotel walked, scored and had an RBI, and Collin Kendall singled, scored and drove in a run.
