Baseball:

Marshall Fundamental did something on Friday that good teams do.

They make short work of programs that aren’t on their level.

The Eagles improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in Mission Valley League play after a 15-1 victory over Rosemead in five innings.

Travis Delgado got the win.

Delgado went two perfect innings and got five of his six outs via strikeout.

West Pendleton struck out five of his own over the next two innings.

And Sam Karp closed the door on the Panthers.

Jacob Hernandez doubled, scored and drove in three runs.

Ethan Meyers had a two-run double.

Travis Delgado walked twice, doubled and scored three runs.

Sam Karp had an RBI and two runs scored.

Jesus Flores singled and scored.

Michael Morris singled and scored and Nick Chew singled and scored twice.

Alex Chew had a three-run double.

Devan Kelly walked, doubled, scored and had an RBI.

Max Stukel had a two-run single.

Pendleton walked and had an RBI.

Caleb Delgado walked three times, scored twice and drove in a run.

Tylr Kennedy walked, singled and scored a pair of runs.
