Monrovia Gets Nine Runs in Third Inning & Breezes to 16-4 Victory Over Agoura

Monrovia jumped on Agoura for nine third-inning runs and the Wildcats would cruise to a 16-4 victory on Saturday.

Coleman Mitchell got the win.

He allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits over his four innings of work.

Mitchell walked two and struck out five.

Donovan Lorenzini and Andrew Primucci provided one scoreless inning of relief apiece and Alex Castaneda allowed an unearned run on one hit in his inning of work.

Cooper Bowen went 2-for-4, with an RBI and run scored for Agoura.

Monrovia’s Nathan Thompson went 2-for-3, including a triple, run scored and four RBIs.

Sebastian Sanchez walked twice, had two singles and five RBIs.

Steven Escarcega walked three times, singled and scored three runs.

Dominic Teneriello walked and scored three times apiece and had one RBI.

Henry Baker walked, singled, scored twice and drove in a run.

Michael Castelli went 2-for-3, including two walks, two singles, three RBIs and a run scored.
