Quotable:
Rancho Cucamonga coach, Tony Garcia-Bautista: “Like most teams this year, due to the short time span we have had to prepare, we have a lot of aspects of the game to improve. We are confident we will continue to improve as we move forward each game.
Our offense has been our strength. We get on base and play an aggressive brand of baseball There was also a heavy mist early in the game. It caused a sloppy game. The kids were throwing the ball all over the place. We were overswinging and hitting the ball right at guys. But we settled down later and the boys did their jobs. We used almost our entire lineup today.”
