Softball:
Haley Ganino put the Tartans on her back in Glendora’s 3-0 Palomares League victory over visiting Colony.
She scattered three hits, didn’t issue a walk and struck out two to get the win.
Michelle Medina, Nicole Moore and Destiny Garcia had one single apiece to account for the Colony offense on Monday.
Annabelle Duenas was saddled with the loss.
Duenas went all six innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on six hits.
She walked one and struck out three Tartans’ batters.
Mackenna Coleman went 3-for-3, scored once and drove in a run.
Bridget Nemeth had an RBI double and scored.
Allie Winovitch had an RBI base hit and Ganino doubled in Monday’s victory.
Ashley Waite scored once.
With seven games to go, Glendora sits one-game back of first-place Ayala.
