Glendora will head into the playoffs with some momentum.

After a 32-19 victory at Claremont, the Tartans have won four in a row and six of their last seven games.

Whether they beat or fall to Bonita on Monday in the regular season finale, GHS will finish with at least a share of second place in the Palomares League, and that will be their best showing since launching the program in 2024.

GHS didn’t start either half with any points, but they scored 20 and 12 points in the second and fourth quarters.

Rylee Franks was 14-of-21 for 191 yards.

Franks tossed three TD passes and wasn’t picked.

Sienna Bobadilla had three receptions for 59 yards and two TDs

Olivia Schitea chipped in with 53 receiving yards on five catches.

Maya Ixco caught two passes for 30 yards and one score.

Avery Laing carried the ball seven times for 51 yards and two TDs.

Laing also caught a pair of passes for 25 yards.

Emily Husung, Addi Bowers and Yaslene Nerio totaled four flag pulls apiece.

Mia Yamazaki, Isabelle Flores, Kamryn Kuo and Jayden Martinez each picked a pass for the Tartans defense.

Quotable:

GHS coach, Greg Bidolli: “The girls came out and did enough to get the win tonight. Now we need to move on and get ready to play a very tough Bonita team to conclude our regular season on Monday. We just need to keep getting better every day!”
