Water Polo:
Bonita put its rivalry game against San Dimas away early.
The Bearcats led 8-2 at the half.
And BHS would cruise to a 15-3 victory.
Lucas Sanchez (4) and Ethan Beltran (3) combined to score seven goals in the win.
Braeden Scoffinger and Jeff Heaton chipped in with two goals apiece.
Shane Pena had 14 saves for the Saints.
Rui Li (2) and Isaac Cruz (1) were San Dimas’ offense on Thursday.
Brian Ngo and Cruz had two steals apiece in the loss.
Jace Egge and Dean Martinez tallied one steal each.
Bonita’s Eian Bane (3), Canaan Abdo (4) and Dylan Wes (6) combined to block 13 shots in goal for the Bearcats.
Up next: BHS will host Ayala on Friday.
SDHS travels to Charter Oak on Wednesday at 4.
