Boys Hoops:
San Dimas won its second consecutive Iron Division game at the Damien Classic.
On Friday, the Saints dropped a 64-25 beatdown on La Sierra.
Tonight, SDHS outlasted Fontana, 45-38, to earn a spot in the division’s semifinal round.
Andrew Diep led San Dimas with 20 points.
Diep connected on three 3’s and he went 5-of-6 from the free-throw line.
Dylan Jones chipped in with 11 points, and Landen Tongco had eight.
Xavier Wilson scored a game-high 22 points.
Wilson was 6-of-8 from the charity stripe.
Up next: The Saints will battle Jurupa Hills on Monday evening at Charter Oak High School.
The tip is set for 8.
