Muir Earns 10th Win of Season After Tuesday’s 4-3 Victory Over Saugus; Castillo Went 5IP, Allowing One Run & Striking Out Four

Baseball:

Muir snapped its four-game losing streak on Tuesday.

The Mustangs held off their visitors from Saugus, 4-3.

Miguel Castillo went 5 1/3 innings and allowed one run on five hits.

Castillo walked one and fanned four SHS batters.

Conrad Hunziker IV got the final five outs.

Hunziker was charged with two runs on two hits.

He walked two and struck out three Saugus batters.

Matt Long walked, singled, doubled and scored.

Abraham Ramirez tripled and drove in a pair of runs.

Jake Kaplan and Lincoln Fritz singled and scored one run apiece.

Owen Kreuzberger went 1-for-2 with an RBI.

Ming Lee was charged with all four runs on six hits over 4 1/3 innings.

Lee issued a pair of walks and struck out three Muir batters.

Fletcher Paddock went 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs.

Kahlil Rishwain singled twice and scored.
