San Marino got out to a big lead in their 2025 season opener, and they cruised to an 8-2 victory over Providence.
The Titans led 8-0 after three innings, and the Pioneers scored both of their runs in the top of the sixth inning.
JJ Wilson went four scoreless innings and allowed two hits to earn the win.
Wilson walked two and struck out four PHS batters.
Asa Langlois had a two-run single in the sixth inning.
Nicholas Delger and Eric Flores had the other two Pioneer base hits.
Luc Rode walked and scored.
Delger got the loss after allowing eight runs on seven hits over three innings.
Delger issued three walks, and he registered three strikeouts.
Wilson helped his own cause with a single, double, run and four RBIs.
Tomas Bilvado went 2-for-3 with a walk, pair of doubles and one RBI.
Parker Wilson doubled, scored and had one RBI.
Charlie Danenhauer walked and scored two runs.
Jamie Bercar walked and singled.
