Quotable:

GHS senior, Aaron Jacobsen: “It felt really good to get the first win of the season and start strong. The whole team played gritty and contributed. I really like the team culture and I’m excited to see how far we can go. I’ve always gotten off to slow starts in the past, so this was a great change of pace for me. Not a lot of people I’ve met work harder than Brayden Johnson. He is almost always one of the first guys at practice, and he never cuts corners. He’s got electric stuff, generates a ton of whiffs. He just didn’t get ahead in the count as much as he would’ve liked today. I’m pumped to see how he progresses as he gets a feel, I think he’s going to make a big impact on the bump for us.”
