Boys Soccer:
Maranatha has put itself within reach of an Olympic League title.
The Minutemen picked up a 7-2 victory at Heritage Christian on Friday.
And that sets up a showdown next Wednesday against first-place Whittier Christian in the regular season finale.
MHS got a first-half goal from Tivin Wulin, and Niko Lareau had three saves in goal.
The Minutemen scored six times in the second half.
George Peterson had two more goals to lead the Maranatha offense.
Kurtis Kwong, Miles Romero, Sam Yakteen and Sean Yamashita also scored for MHS.
Shaurya Bhartia blocked one shot in the second half.

Up next: The Minutemen host Whittier Christian on Wednesday at 5:30 to close out the regular season.
The Heralds (5-0 in league) defeated MHS, 2-0, back on January the 12th.
