Boys Basketball:
Damien won its third consecutive game at the Riverside Kiwanis Tournament on Thursday.
The Spartans defeated Arlington, 69-40, and used a 40-21 second-half run to pull away.
Eli Garner had a game-high 20 points, including three 3-pointers.
Garner scored 16 of those 20 in the first half.
Nate Garcia finished with 16 points and Xavier Clinton chipped in with 13 points.
Damien improved to 9-1.
Lincoln Liggins led Arlington with 13 points and Legend Liggins provided 12 points in a losing effort.
