Muir picked up the two-game Pacific League sweep of Hoover on Friday.

The Mustangs rode the arm of Bryant Soriano to a 7-1 victory.

Soriano went the distance and allowed one run on two hits.

He issued two walks and fanned five.

Fernando Gallegos had an RBI single.

Bryan Olmedo singled and scored for the Tornadoes.

Jordan Mahler surrendered five runs (two earned) on seven hits over his 5 1/3 innings.

He didn’t issue a walk and struck out a pair of Mustangs.

Tarik Reese went 4-for-4 with a double, two runs and one RBI.

Bobby Milton walked, singled and scored.

Conrad Hunziker had an RBI double.

Vince Bugarin doubled, scored and drove in three.

Issac Rishwan doubled and scored.

Owen Grice went 2-for-3 and scored.

Kalhi Rishwan singled, scored and had two RBIs.
